I always loved board games as a kid but got into modern board gaming in college. Our college friend group became obsessed and most evenings were spent procrastinating on homework and playing board games instead. One of those friends became my husband and we started a board game cafe together in Virginia, which was our life for 7 years. Eventually I closed it to pursue design and travel full-time.

My passion is to design games that are quick to set up and teach, beautiful on the table, and have wide audience appeal, the kind of games that were my "go to" recommendations at my store. I also love designing to unique themes that are under-represented in the board game world.
